Quinn’s Travelling Blog #1

Posted on 01/16/2013 at 5:35pm

Long-time Cirkid and current CircusWest Performance student Quinn Beasley has gone to Thailand to work with Burmese orphans! He has travelled halfway around the world to share his passion for circus through teaching and performing with Spark Circus! We have asked him to share his experiences and will continue to post them on this blog.

Hello Circus Community,

My name is Quinn Beasley and I have the pleasure of touring with Spark Circus in Thailand for the next month! For those of you who don’t know what Spark is, Spark is a volunteer based circus troupe trying to make a difference by using their circus skills. We went to Mae Sot in Thailand where we made a difference in the lives of the refugee orphan children who left their home country of Burma to escape oppression, war, and human rights issues. I have just arrived in Bangkok this morning to meet up with the team and to start preparing for this incredible journey! I will keep you updated throughout the month on the details of this project.

Talk to you soon,
Quinn

The kids are more than happy to show their parents all the new skills they have learned here at CircusWest!
