Are you a parent of a CirKid older than a Cub, Lion or Tiger? If so, a volunteer fee has been added to your child’s tuition. We do this because CircusWest has many moving parts that need volunteer attention. We’re a big family, and big families need everyone to help pull their weight! (Luckily, this one doesn’t need you to wash the dishes).

Volunteer opportunities

We have many volunteer opportunities throughout the year, from one-offs to ongoing tasks, in a wide range of areas. A heads up: many of our volunteer hours are needed in the Spring, to help with the May show.

If you are interested in volunteering, please take a few minutes to let us know more about you by completing our online-form (see link, below). We have many areas within the organization where volunteers are needed and we want to find the right fit for you!

Volunteer Fee

The CirKids volunteer fee is calculated based on 20–30 volunteer hours per year, so 2–3 hours per month.

Note for families with multiple children: After one enrolled child, there is a $5 volunteer fee (or annual 5 hours of volunteering) for each additional child.

Tracking Your Hours

Please enter your hours into the volunteer binder at the front desk when you’re completing them. You can also keep an eye on them from home by downloading or printing the Tracking Sheet.

Refund Form

At the end of the year, if you’ve completed all requested volunteer hours, submit a Volunteer Refund Form to have the year’s volunteer fees fully refunded.
